Betty C. Boyle, 88, passed away on May 28, 2015. Betty Bagnuolo was born on May 11, 1927 in New York City, and married the love of hBetty Boyle Final Pic (1)er life, Donald Boyle on October 8, 1949. Her loving ways, strong faith, and kind and gentle spirit have made her an inspiration to all who knew her.  She will be greatly missed by her devoted husband of 65 years, her ten grown children, and their families.

Betty was a popular local artist and received multiple awards recognizing her talents. A signature artist of the Kentucky Watercolor Society and the Watercolor Society of Indiana, Betty had also been accepted into the American Watercolor Society. For decades, she participated in the Broad Ripple, Penrod, and Talbott Street art fairs. Her paintings are exhibited in galleries in the Indianapolis area.

Much of her artistic inspiration comes from worldwide travels with her husband Don. In addition, she used her creative gifts to compose music and lyrics. She enjoyed directing choral groups and singing, especially duets with her husband. Betty was also an avid gardener. Most of all, she loved her family and friends.

Visitation hours are at St. Lawrence Catholic Church in Indianapolis Monday, June 1st 4:30 – 7:00 PM and Tuesday, June 2nd 10:00 with a Mass to follow at 11:00 AM. A Celebration of Life is planned for later this summer, to be posted at CaringBridge.org.  In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to theportfolioclub.org or the Watercolor Society of Indiana.
